Our fundraising events are celebrations of the collective power of women’s philanthropy. Our very popular Annual Grant Awards Luncheon motivates and inspires as we share in the success stories of many of our grant recipients. Our “Power of the Purse” party is a spirited evening of raffles and is inspired by the Victor Hugo quote, “As the purse is emptied, the heart is filled.”
The Women’s Fund Celebrates 5th Annual Power of the Purse!
On April 4, 2013 two hundred and fifty women from across Essex County attended The Women’s Fund of Essex County’s 5th Annual Power of the Purse fundraising event and purse raffle at Brookwood School, in Manchester. Proceeds of the event help to fund our special projects and grant awards.
