Partnering with Lowe’s as co-sponsor for the kick-off date on May 8, 2010, board members and friends of The Women’s Fund, as well as other women from the community, began working with Habitat for Humanity on a home for a woman-head of household family in Lawrence. We had the opportunity to participate on three build dates and have been very proud to be part of this project. The family took occupancy of their home in time for the holidays.

The Women’s Fund was proud to participate in the 21st Annual “Walk for HAWC.”  HAWC – Healing Abuse Working for Change – is a domestic violence agency serving the North Shore.Together the team and The Women's Fund donated $745 to the Walk. Team members Marcie Hunsaker, Susan Barry, Cathy Ebling, and Paula Jerome enjoyed the five mile stroll through Salem to support a great cause.
